Mead, Nebraska
Mark is a fourth generation farmer and emeriti faculty member of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln where he was the founding director of the Engler Agribusiness Entrepreneurship Program and served as the executive director of the University of Nebraska's Rural Futures Institute during its creation.
He helped guide the Center for Rural Affairs as a member of the Advisory Committee from 1993 to 2003 and as a member of the Board of Directors from 2003 to 2013.
His wife, Dianne, also served on the Center's Advisory Committee from 2007 to 2013.
