POSTPONED - Rural Resiliency Forum - Red Oak, Iowa

Due to a scheduling conflict, this event has been postponed. Local leaders will facilitate a discussion about strategies to build community resilience on Tuesday, March 10, in Red Oak, Iowa

When: Tuesday, March 10, from 5:30 to 7 p.m.

Where: Montgomery County History Center, 2700 North Fourth St., Red Oak, Iowa

Cost: Free. Refreshments will be provided.

The forum will feature local leaders from the surrounding area who will share their work and experiences. Among the topics will be flood mitigation and watershed management. Community members are encouraged to come prepared with topics and strategies they would like to explore. This event will be a hands-on opportunity where farmers, business owners, local officials, and  other community members can have a dialogue about what a more resilient community looks like.
