Workshops Teach Beginning Latino Farmers How to Get Started

Have you ever dreamed of owning your own farm or ranch business?  Starting January 17, a 12-session series, delivered in Spanish, will be available for beginning Latino farmers - to teach you all about learning how to start your own farm or ranch.

In this series, organized by the Center for Rural Affairs, you can meet other beginning and experienced farmers, go on farm tours, learn business basics, financial literacy, and production tips from experts!

These workshops will take place on Saturdays in Crete, NE. Scholarships are available for participants!

Everyone is welcome! You don’t need to have your own land, you don’t have to already be farming - you just need the passion to realize your dream!

Whether you want to raise chickens or goats or other livestock, grow vegetables or grain, sell honey or eggs, or any other type of farming, these workshops are right for you! You can learn how to make this a reality starting January 17!

Call me, Erin, at 402.822.0066 for more details! This program is sponsored by the Center for Rural Affairs.
