A heartfelt Thank You to the 602 people from Nebraska who completed the fifth biennial Small Business Needs Assessment survey, which was offered both in English and Spanish. We have begun the fascinating work of putting together the responses. They range from aspiring businesses to those within 10 years of transitioning as well as the folks that serve these businesses...Bankers, Economic Developers, Chambers of Commerce.

Your information will help REAP and other business resource providers better serve Nebraska’s Businesses.

According to Jeff Reynolds, REAP Program Director, the small business climate in Nebraska is constantly changing.  Meeting the needs of startup and existing small businesses is extremely important to all the organizations and entities that provide small business services. As with previous surveys, the Center for Rural Affairs REAP program will be using the results of this 'needs' based survey to help shape future programming with the ultimate goal of enhancing programming to best serve the critical needs of today’s entrepreneurs.

This is a valued survey, not only within our organization and in Nebraska, but it’s read throughout the United States.  A huge thank you goes out  to everyone that took the time to complete the survey!

We look forward to seeing what your current business needs are, including training needs, key trends, and potential obstacles that may be slowing down business growth, among other important data.
