About: The sound of birds chirping will soon announce the arrival of spring, and what better way to prepare than by having kids create their own bird feeders?

Using upcycled materials, each participant will be able to design and take home their own bird feeder.

Plus, they will learn how to make homemade chili and cornbread.

Cost: Free

When: Monday, Feb. 12, from 5 to 7 p.m.

Where: Walthill Public Library, 323 Main St., Walthill, Nebraska
