About: Ever wonder what your locally owned grocery store does to prosper? Take a trip and visit three rural grocery stores and one local food store. This roundtrip bus tour will provide you with the opportunity to learn about the challenges rural grocery stores face and why they are vital to keeping communities healthy and vibrant.
The tour will include stores in:
- Malvern, Iowa
- Logan, Iowa
- Neola, Iowa
Please dress warm and wear comfortable shoes. You will be walking around a bit at these stores. The tour will start and end at Mulholland Grocery.
Cost: Free
When: Friday, Jan. 17, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
