I grew up near Oakland, Nebraska, on an acreage just outside of town. I spent my childhood helping my dad with cattle, playing in the creeks with my brothers, and running around town with friends. Recently, I moved back to my small town to give my sons the kind of experience I had growing up.
In 2008, I graduated with a bachelor's degree in business administration from Midland Lutheran College (now Midland University). After taking 10 years off to raise my three boys, I'm excited to stretch my brain in new ways once again.
My coworkers are wonderful, and I love the mission of the Center to further fund, educate, and innovate rural communities to keep small towns thriving. I hope to cultivate and maintain the kind of interoffice relationships that have been so apparent here, and be a valuable member of the finance team.
Tending to my plants is one of my favorite hobbies, as I have quite a green thumb. I’m also a huge fan of the Chicago Cubs and always enjoy supporting my team.
