As contract and compliance manager for Nebraska Solar for All, I help develop different components of the program and monitor our grant to ensure we are in compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations. I am extremely excited to be part of the team that is working on this new solar project that serves Nebraska communities and builds a better future for generations to come.

In 2021, I received my Master in Public Administration degree with a nonprofit concentration from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. My career in nonprofits and the public sector has included overseeing the development, operation, and compliance of programs focused on serving populations that are underemployed and unemployed.

The Center's mission and values resonate with me since I was raised in Arthur, a small rural community in western Nebraska. My mom worked for the Center, so I grew up hearing about the organization's amazing work. Having a strong work ethic and treating people with respect were values that my parents and community instilled in me, and I continue to carry them with me today.

I love to spend my free time with friends and family. I enjoy hiking, playing basketball, finding organizational hacks, and organizing anything and everything (and then reorganizing it again after I find another hack). I also play (and end up stepping on) a lot of Legos with my son.

What (or who) inspires you?

My parents and siblings really inspire me to do my best in all aspects of life. I want to inspire my son to know that he can achieve so many things in life and that I am always there to support him.

What's something surprising about you that most people don't know?

I love the movie, “The Grinch that Stole Christmas” (Jim Carrey version)! I can recite basically the entire movie, and I have a ton of Grinch items and decorations.
