Keeping rural communities strong is incredibly important to me. So, when I first learned of the Center for Rural Affairs I was excited to see that the organization stands up for the family farmer and rancher, new businesses, and small towns.
Before coming to the Center, I graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and minors in communications and community and regional planning. I’ve also worked for agriculture and healthcare nonprofits.
As the fourth generation to grow up on my family’s farm in south central Nebraska, agriculture and rural communities are my roots. I have seen firsthand the rewards and the challenges of living in a rural community.
I like to spend my free time exploring the great outdoors, making something delicious in my kitchen, or being with friends and family.
