The idea of working in human resources captured my interest when I realized I could help people. Every day, I strive to be able to guide people through their employment, be a listening ear when needed, and be the voice of reason when necessary. My goal is to provide employees with tools to make them successful in their jobs.
My years working in the human resources field have helped me cultivate a versatile skill set and comprehensive understanding of the various aspects of human resources management. After gaining some experience, I decided to pursue an MBA because I wanted to grow professionally and expand my leadership skills. I enjoy sharing my knowledge and collaborating with the rural communities served by the Center.
My aim is to contribute to the Center's well-established positive workplace and help the organization succeed by aligning human resources strategies with the Center’s vision, supporting employee well-being, and ensuring we follow established policies and standards.
Growing up in a rural area, I have learned to appreciate the value of hard work, resilience, and community support. I chose to raise my kids in rural America because of the unique culture, close-knit communities, and a greater sense of security.
