I grew up in Bancroft, Nebraska, and have stayed in rural America all my life. My husband and I live on a farm between Bancroft and West Point, and over the years, I have learned much more than I ever could have imagined about farming. We have raised cattle in the past, but have stayed with the crops side of farming.
Working in the office setting is familiar to me, as I previously worked at St. Francis Memorial Hospital in West Point, Nebraska, and served 22 years there as the Medicare reimbursement specialist. I’m grateful I can bring that knowledge and experience to help me in my role at the Center.
My children, Carly, Carsten, and Caragan, are my whole world. Our youngest attends Wayne State College. The older two are married and each has a daughter, and we have another grandchild on the way. We are new at the grandparent thing and we absolutely love it. I also enjoy watching my kids participate in sports and going to Kansas City Royals baseball games.
