About: Connect to poetry and nature through a reading and writing session with Iowa poet Kelly Madigan as she brings life to her words during a Loess Hills remnant prairie walk. You’ll have the chance to listen to and observe nature and take advantage of this time to write down your own inspirational words.

This event is geared toward women and non-binary farmers, landowners, and/or conservation enthusiasts.

Participants are asked to bring comfortable shoes and a journal. Light refreshments and snacks will be provided.

When: Sunday, Sept. 15, from 2 to 4:30 p.m.
