Dennis Demmel practiced regenerative agriculture on his organic farm in southwestern Nebraska for decades because he believes in a holistic approach to land management. His priorities have always been to build soil health, reduce emissions, provide diversity, and protect water. These practices have been an investment in a resilient future.
That’s how Dennis, who is also our Board President, thinks of the Center’s work in rural America: as an investment in a sustainable future with a resilient rural economy.
We’re excited to share the news that a few incredibly generous donors, including Dennis, have agreed to match donations through the end of the year.
I’m not too shy to say this means our fundraising goal is quite steep this season. And with your support, we’re confident we can meet and even exceed our goal. Will you join Dennis by making a gift today?
Thanks to your support this past year, we worked tirelessly to build healthy community ecosystems where diversity is valued.
With 2023 nearly here, we’re preparing for the challenges ahead. Our community of supporters makes it possible to enter the new year strong, nimble, and ready to surmount these challenges.
The Center and our partners, like you, labor through election cycles, economic turmoil, and political division to bring systemic change to rural America. Your gift will help build bridges that span political, social, racial, and economic divides.
We work together to ensure there will be a future for rural America. Doing so is no easy task. We need to organize advocates, provide education and capital to small businesses, repair aging housing stock, protect waterways, support the next generation of farmers and community leaders, and so much more.
Your matched donation will help create a future in which all rural people have access to the opportunity to build fulfilling lives.
Thank you for believing in us and for standing beside us as, together, we build a sustainable rural future.
