HARTINGTON, NEBRASKA – Two Advanced Microsoft Excel Workshops will be offered to local entrepreneurs and business owners in the Hartington area. These free training events are sponsored by the Center for Rural Affairs, Security Bank, and Hartington Public Library.

Each session is limited to 10 attendees. The classes will take place Sept. 12 and 13 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Hartington Public Library, 106 S Broadway Ave., in Hartington.

“Microsoft Excel is a powerful tool to strengthen your business,” said Kim Preston, Center for Rural Affairs Women’s Business Center director. “From charting to managing contacts to analyzing specifics of your business, Excel is an excellent addition to your business.”

Small business owners will go more in-depth with Excel features that are immediately relevant to daily tasks for small businesses of all types.

The use of laptops and software will be provided.
