FREMONT, NEBRASKA – Registration is now open for the fourth annual Latina Women in Business Conference: Creando un Legado (Creating a Legacy), hosted by the Center for Rural Affairs. The event is in Spanish only.

The conference is scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 8, at Fremont City Auditorium, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

It is dedicated to developing Latino entrepreneurship in Nebraska and features opportunities to share, learn, and network.

“We aim to empower you with tools and resources to build and strengthen your professional and personal path,” said Brissa Borjas Esparza, senior business development specialist with the Center. “We invite everyone, men and women, to join us in celebrating the talent and tenacity of Latina women as we create a legacy of success and leadership together.”

The event is for those who own a business or who are considering starting one, with sessions focused on leadership, empowerment, and more. A panel features small business owners from different sectors in northeast Nebraska.
