ALMA, NEBRASKA - A workshop for small businesses and entrepreneurs is set for Monday, June 12, in Alma, Nebraska, sponsored by the Center for Rural Affairs. The session focuses on online marketing strategies and will be held at Simmy’s, 819 W. Main St., from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
There is no charge, however pre-registration is requested so organizers have adequate materials.
During the sessions, participants will learn about building online relationships using websites, email marketing, and social media. Time will be given for questions that participants may have about their own businesses.
“Many small business owners get caught up trying to use social media, but then forget the basic necessity of having a broader online presence,” said Monica Braun, Center for Rural Affairs Women’s Business Center director.
“I would definitely recommend this workshop to anyone who has started or is planning to start a business,” commented a past participant. “Last spring, I attended an online marketing and social media workshop that quickly helped me realize just how imperative and beneficial strategic marketing plans are.”
