SOUTH SIOUX CITY, NEBRASKA – Prospective business owners are invited to learn about available resources at a free workshop, organized by the Center for Rural Affairs, in collaboration with the South Sioux City Area Chamber of Commerce and Tourism and City of South Sioux City.
“Getting Ready to Start My Business” is set for Sunday, April 28, from 3 to 5 p.m. The event will be at Sugal Consulting, LLC, 3900 Dakota Ave., Ste. 11, in South Sioux City, Nebraska.
Mabel Alarcon-Craven, Center for Rural Affairs business development consultant will present the workshop in English. The content will then be translated in Somalian.
“Have you dreamed about becoming a business owner?” Alarcon-Craven said. “Do you want to start a bakery, hair salon, bookkeeping business, child care center, or other business? Learn about the resources, requirements, and responsibilities it takes to start your dream business at this workshop.”
The Center provides business training, technical assistance, microloans, and networking to small businesses in Nebraska.
