LYONS, NEBRASKA – Andi McClintic has been hired to serve Nebraska as Lending Services assistant director with the Center for Rural Affairs.

In this role, McClintic collaborates closely with the Center’s loan specialists, assisting them as they work with small business and mortgage clients. The Center provides training, free one-on-one business counseling, and loan products.

Originally from southwest Nebraska, McClintic brings a wide variety of skills to the Center, having worked for the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, the Nebraska Department of Economic Development, and Dawson Area Development.

“I feel lucky to be working with a team that is welcoming to the knowledge I bring from previous experiences but also one I can learn a lot from myself,” McClintic said. “I also leverage my statewide network from my time working in economic development to share our story of the Center and the services we offer.”

Kim Preston, Lending Services director with the Center, said McClintic’s knowledge will greatly benefit the Center.

“Andi brings a wealth of experience to our work and the Center,” said Preston. “We look forward to collaborating with her and bringing our lending services work to more of the state.”

McClintic said she aims to build strong relationships with partners, reconnect with old colleagues, and create new contacts throughout Nebraska to increase the number of applicants for the Center’s programs.

“I would be so proud to be a small part of growing the lender team over time because there is so much more awareness of how we can help businesses and home purchasers,” she said.

McClintic is based out of her home office in south central Nebraska; reach her at 308.833.0260 or andim@cfra.org.
