Wood River, Nebraska - Small business owners are invited to learn about online marketing tools in an interactive setting during “Online Marketing Strategies,” a free workshop organized by the Center for Rural Affairs Women’s Business Center in collaboration with the Wood River Vision Business Association.
This session will be held Wednesday, Dec. 6, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., at Wood River Community Center, 108 W 10th St., in Wood River, Nebraska.
The workshop will focus on building online relationships using websites, email marketing, and social media, including Facebook and Twitter.
“Many small business owners get caught up trying to use social media, but then forget the basic necessity of having a broader online presence," said Monica Braun, Center for Rural Affairs Women’s Business Center director. “81 percent of shoppers conduct online searches before buying. This session will help potential clients see only the best of your business in those searches.”
A brisket sandwich meal will be available for $10, if requested with advanced registration by Nov. 28.
