STROMSBURG, NEBRASKA – A Basic QuickBooks workshop will be offered to local entrepreneurs and business owners on Tuesday, March 12. This free event is sponsored by the Center for Rural Affairs Women’s Business Center and Stromsburg Chamber of Commerce.
The session is set for 5 to 8 p.m. at Stromsburg Public Library, 320 Central St., in Stromsburg.
“Accurate recordkeeping can be beneficial to the success of an entrepreneur’s business,” said Kim Preston, Center for Rural Affairs Women’s Business Center director. “Recordkeeping can quickly identify past due accounts and help collect those accounts in a more timely manner. That helps cash flow and viability.”
Small business owners will learn how to organize and set up businesses in QuickBooks, and how to enter transactions.
Kelly Abrahams will lead the course. The Stromsburg Chamber of Commerce will provide light snacks.
Registration is required by March 5.
