WAKEFIELD, NEBRASKA – Entrepreneurs and business owners in the Wakefield area are invited to a series of workshops focused on small business training. These free events are sponsored by the Center for Rural Affairs and Gardner Public Library.
Each session is limited to 10 attendees, and will take place at Gardner Public Library, 114 Third St., in Wakefield.
- Basic QuickBooks (two-day event): Tuesday, Nov. 5 and Thursday, Nov. 7, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
- Introduction to Publisher: Monday, Nov. 11, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
- Advanced QuickBooks: Wednesday, Nov. 13, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
- Advanced Excel: Tuesday, Nov. 19, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
“QuickBooks and Excel are great money management tools for business owners,” said Anna Pratt, Center for Rural Affairs Women’s Business Center director. “In the Publisher class, attendees will learn design skills useful when creating business materials.”
Diann Ballard from db-Consulting, LLC, of Pender, Nebraska, will instruct the course. The use of laptops and software will be provided.
Registration is required one day in advance.
