LYONS, NEBRASKA – Nebraska entrepreneurs and small business managers are invited to attend a variety of virtual workshops sponsored by the Center for Rural Affairs.
Workshops offered in March include (all times are CT):
- “Financial Literacy” on Wednesday, March 3, from 5:30 to 8 p.m.
- “Guerilla Marketing Strategies” (Spanish) on Wednesday, March 3, from noon to 1 p.m.
- “Building Relationships Six Feet Apart” on Thursdays, March 4 and 11, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
- “QuickBooks Basic” on Monday, March 8, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
- “Make Marketing Matter: Messaging” (Spanish) on Wednesday, March 10, from noon to 1 p.m.
- “QuickBooks Advanced” on Monday, March 15, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
- “Cleaning and Disinfecting in the Era of COVID-19” on Tuesday, March 16, and Thursday, March 18, from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
- “Online Reputation Management” (Spanish) on Wednesday, March 17, from noon to 1 p.m.
- “Small Business Taxes on Tuesday, March 23, and Thursday, March 25, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
- “Using Public Relations to Build Trust” (Spanish) on Wednesday, March 24, from noon to 1 p.m.
“As the pandemic continues to affect our communities, entrepreneurs are adapting to a new way of doing business," said Jessica Campos, Center for Rural Affairs’ Women’s Business Center director. “We are committed to helping these small business owners through this time by offering sessions on marketing, accounting, tax, disaster recovery, and more.”
