O'NEILL, NEBRASKA – Entrepreneurs are invited to learn about social media platforms Twitter, LinkedIn, and Facebook during a free workshop organized by the Center for Rural Affairs Women’s Business Center in collaboration with Holt County Economic Development.
“Social Media - The Big Three” will be held Tuesday, March 26, from 1 to 4 p.m., at Holt County Economic Development, O’Neill Depot Building, 330 E Hancock St., O’Neill, NE 68763.
During this session, participants will learn the target market for each platform, why that pertains to each business, and best practices. This is an interactive and hands-on session. Attendees are encouraged to bring their laptops.
“It’s important to know where your customers are most active, and then you need to be comfortable reaching out to them via that platform," said Kim Preston, Center for Rural Affairs Women’s Business Center director. “This session will enhance business owners’ knowledge of the big three social media sites.”
Diane Siefkes, owner of dkSolutions, and an online marketing consultant from Lincoln, Nebraska, will present the course.
