COLUMBUS, NEBRASKA – Nebraska entrepreneurs and small business managers are invited to attend a free workshop presented in Spanish and sponsored by the Center for Rural Affairs.
“Disaster and Recovery” is set for 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. on Mondays, Nov. 15, 22, and 29, at Centro Hispano, 3214 25th St., Suite 1, Columbus.
“Disasters can happen at any time,” said Jessica Campos, Center for Rural Affairs Women's Business Center director. “This training will help you learn how to prepare for and recover from the unexpected. Participants will explore the structure of their own disaster and recovery plan, go over their actual plan, and discover resources to assist them with possible circumstances.”
Registration is required by Nov. 15. Sign up at cfra.org/events.
The Center for Rural Affairs provides business training, one-on-one business counseling, business loans up to $250,000, and networking to small businesses in Nebraska.
The Center recommends that all participants wear face masks at indoor events.
