WEST POINT, NEBRASKA – Entrepreneurs and business owners in the West Point area are invited to a series of workshops focused on small business training. These free events are sponsored by the Center for Rural Affairs and John A. Stahl Library.
Each session is limited to 10 attendees, and will take place at John A. Stahl Library, 330 N. Colfax, in West Point.
- Introduction to Publisher: Monday, Nov. 4, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
- Basic QuickBooks (two-day event): Mondays, Nov. 18 and 25, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
- Advanced QuickBooks: Monday, Dec. 2, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
- Advanced Excel: Monday, Dec. 9, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
“There is always something new to learn about QuickBooks and Excel,” said Anna Pratt, Center for Rural Affairs Women’s Business Center director. “In the Publisher class, attendees will learn how to utilize templates, photos, shapes, and other tools to spice up their designs.”
Diann Ballard from db-Consulting, LLC, of Pender, Nebraska, will instruct the course. The use of laptops and software will be provided.
Registration is required two days in advance of each session.
