Project management and graphic design are my top priorities at the Center. Staff send me important research and rely on me to bring it to life for public consumption. I also work with the development team, designing the letters and information we mail to our supporters. When my schedule allows, I travel to Center-sponsored events and take photos to use in future advertising pieces.
Before coming to the Center, I worked in higher education marketing at the university-level, and I've owned and operated a small photography business for more than 10 years. I grew up in a small town, and one of the biggest gifts was the strong sense of community. I knew I wanted to raise my children in that same environment. I love that the Center values the community aspect of rural living.
My husband, Brenn, and I have three young children. As a family, we enjoy spending time near lakes and fixing up our 1915 home. Personally, I enjoy gardening and being involved in our community. Since moving back to northeast Nebraska in 2015, I've served on various boards and committees, and I've been involved in high school competitive speech as a coach or judge since 2018.
