Growing up on my family's third-generation cattle ranch, I developed a profound appreciation for the resilience and spirit of rural communities—a passion that continues to drive me today.
After earning my bachelor's degree in political science from Northwest Missouri State University in December of 2020, I pursued my Juris Doctorate at the University of Nebraska College of Law, graduating in May of 2024.
I was excited to learn about the Center for Rural Affairs, an organization that shares my values and commitment to rural communities. The Center’s mission aligns perfectly with my own passion for preserving the vitality and spirit of these areas, and I am eager to contribute to its efforts.
My husband and I now have a home in a small Nebraska village. Whether I'm tending to our vegetable garden, trying new recipes in the kitchen, taking a walk with our three German Shorthaired Pointers, or just reading a good book on the porch, I find solace and joy in the everyday moments that small town living offers. These experiences shape my dedication to supporting rural communities and embodying the values instilled in me from a young age.
