Traveling throughout Nebraska has given me a better perspective of how important rural areas are for the economy. I believe there is a talented workforce that needs our assistance to grow their businesses and achieve their personal or business goals; that’s where our job gains more relevance.
I’m originally from Guayaquil, Ecuador, and came to Nebraska to pursue my graduate studies. I served in the retail industry doing accounting, payroll, and financial planning, then worked for three years at the Nebraska Business Development Center (NBDC) as a business consultant. During that time, I also finished my MBA and Master's degree in economics.
The Center’s strong focus on serving the Latino community makes me feel identified with our mission. It brings me great joy to be able to participate in projects aiming to provide resources to that community.
When I’m not working, I love to stay active. I used to play soccer in high school and college, and I am very passionate about sports.
