My job gives me the opportunity to make a real difference in our community while also getting to know people from different backgrounds who are willing to learn about how to start/expand their businesses. I work with small business owners and potential homeowners across Nebraska to provide technical assistance and lending opportunities. I do my best to help them understand how the loan process works and how we can help them achieve their goals in the short and long run.
The Center’s strong focus on serving the Latino community helps me personally identify with our mission. I feel great joy being able to participate in projects that aim to provide resources to the Latino community.
I came to Nebraska from Guayaquil, Ecuador, to pursue my graduate studies. I served in the retail industry doing accounting, payroll, and financial planning, then worked as a business consultant. During that time, I also finished my MBA and master's degree in economics.
Rural Nebraska offers a sense of belonging and the opportunity to forge strong relationships. Rural communities play a vital role in different areas that are essential to our economy as well as offer stunning landscapes and natural resources.

What is your favorite way to relax or unwind?
I’d say watching sports. However, it can be stressful and frustrating at the same time. I’m not sure if that’s the best way to relax, but I love it.
If you could instantly be good at something, what would it be?
Probably the ability to speak multiple languages fluently.
If you could meet any celebrity, dead or alive, who would you choose?
Cristiano Ronaldo for sure. I love soccer!
